Daily Challenge: You have the numbers 3, 5 and 8. Use these numbers to make as many 2 - digit numbers as you can.

 

Extension:  Using 7. 8 and 1.  Will the number of answers be the same? 

Daily Challenge: Create a Reindeer like Room 8

Create a reindeer- roll a dice with a friend to see who can finish their reindeer first.

Each number on the dice tells you which part you can draw.  Who can complete their reindeer first? 

Extension: 

- Use a dice that you can draw different numbers on

- change the numbers for each reindeer part 

- use fractions/decimals  instead of whole numbers

Give yourself or a partner a magic number (eg. 100). Estimate how far you will walk to if you walk 100 steps.  Count it out and find where you finish.  Were you right? Did you go further than you thought you would?

Is it possible to go 100 steps in every direction from where you are standing? Why?
